♦ Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) produces more than 95% of India’s complete production of business varieties of cherries.
♦ J&K produces 4 varieties of cherry particularly Double, Makhmali, Mishri and Italy.
♦ Cherries have been harvested, cleaned and packed through exporter registered under APEDA. Technical inputs have been provided via Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology of Kashmir.
