21 June 2021 Current Affairs:The Ministries of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW) and Civil Aviation (MoCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Development of Sea Plane Services in India.
Highlights:
♦ Goal: Development of non-scheduled/scheduled seaplane services within India's territorial jurisdiction under the RCS-UDAN scheme.
♦ A Coordination Committee will be formed to ensure that the operationalization of Seaplane services at various locations is completed on time.
