03 July 2021 Current Affairs:As part of the UN High-level Dialogue on Energy (HLDE), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited has become the first energy company in India to declare its Energy Compact Goals. NTPC is the largest power generation company under the Ministry of Power in India. In September 2021, the United Nations will hold a high-level dialogue (HLD) to promote the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development's energy-related goals and targets.

♦ It is a platform for uniting and connecting commitments and actions.
