Veteran leader and Congressmen Ramkrishna Dwivedi passed away

He served as the state Home Minister in Pandit Kamalapati Tripathis government in Uttar Pradesh. He was devoted to the Congress and fought for the Congress.

10 April 2020 Current Affairs:Veteran leader and Congressmen Ramkrishna Dwivedi passed away on 10 April. He died at the age of 87 years old. He died due to prolonged illness. 

Ramkrishna Dwivedi:
Diwedi went to jail as a student during the Quit India Movement. Since 1989, he also headed UPCC's disciplinary committee for 15 years and stood with the party.
Pandit Ramkrishna Dwivedi is known as a land leader for the public and Congress workers. He served as the state Home Minister in Pandit Kamalapati Tripathi’s government in Uttar Pradesh. He was devoted to the Congress and fought for the Congress. He was instrumental in other Congress organizations including the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and Youth Congress. He was the favorite and most trusted confidant member of congress when Indira Gandhi served as the Prime Minister of India. He was expelled by the Congress party on charges of indiscipline.
